Our story
Straight Answers, Solid Repairs
For years, families across Downey have brought their cars to B & J Auto Repair Alignment & Transmission for honest, thorough work. We specialize in transmission repair and wheel alignment, the kind of jobs that take real experience to get right.
When a customer's transmission needed a flexplate replacement, another shop wanted a month just to look at the car. We had it back on the road in less than three days. That is the pace and the standard we hold ourselves to on every vehicle that comes through our doors.
Our team, including Ramiro and Lucio, takes pride in diagnosing problems thoroughly instead of guessing, and treating every customer like family.
- Transmission & alignment specialists
- Thorough diagnosis, no guesswork
- Trusted by Downey families for years
- Fast turnaround on major repairs
What customers say
“I brought in my 07 CTS to get a flexplate in my transmission replaced. While another shop told me I had to wait a month so they could even look at my car, this shop took my car the same day I called and had it back and running in less than 3 days. They go beyond to satisfy their customers.”
“They are quick, efficient and reasonable! Ramiro went above and beyond to help me, and also pointed out something I hadn't noticed, my fuel cap. He hooked me up and I feel great using them for all my mechanical needs! I highly recommend them!!!”
“My family and I have been bringing our cars here for years. Trustworthy. Great and friendly service. Affordable and does a thorough job to diagnose the issue. Has a real passion for his trade. Thank you!”
